Master furniture craftsman Sergio Ibanez demonstrates the lost art of cabriole-layout and the use of traditional turn-of-the-century hand woodworking tools, techniques and patterns. Here Sergio handcrafts the sculptural arms of Russel Wright's iconic Pony Chair from a solid piece of primavera wood. The Russel Wright® Pony chair was manufactured by Heywood-Wakefield furniture company of Gardner, Massachusetts in 1932, and again in 2005-2006 by Consolidated Design Mfg. in N. Hollywood, California for Russel Wright Studios.
