Here is our current collection of imported caiman skins which we contract the leading tannery in South America who is also contracted by Nancy Gonzales to tan her caiman skins. These are our USA stocked colors from 35-39cm at the widest section. The size of each skin ranges from 14-15.5 inches in width by 38-44 inches in length. You will notice a CITES tag at the tail of each skin, which proves that we have followed all regulations to import and wholesale these beautiful skins to designers, manufactures, and wholesalers, as well as those just getting started in the industry. Popular uses for genuine caiman crocodile Hornback skins are handbags, jewelry, furniture, wall covering, boots/shoes, small leather goods, upholstery, car and motorcycles upholstery, and just about any surface area were traditional leathers are used. Hornback is referred to the cut during harvest time, therefore making the insertion along the belly and exposing the bony horns and fin that runs down the center for each tail. While we mostly cater to American clients we do and have experience exporting to several international countries. We also assist our clients with all the paperwork needed for a smooth re-export of finished products produced locally or overseas. To ensure the biodiversity and health of caiman skins as our precious resource, we at Rojé (pronounced "row-shay") procure our raw skins from certified farmers and harvesters adhering to strictly manged quota systems and follow all international CITES and local US Fish and Wildlife laws and regulations.
